Meet the Team
Chris & Kayla Hall
From the very beginning, ministry has been a part of who we are. Both of us—Chris and Kayla—felt the call of God as teenagers, around 15 and 16 years old. Even then, God began planting a vision in our hearts to reach those who were hurting, to bring hope to the broken, and to help change lives through the love of Jesus.
We’ve served in nearly every area of ministry over the years—children’s ministry, youth, worship, outreach, and missions. Every season has taught us something new and prepared us for this moment, when the vision God placed in our hearts years ago is coming to life through Help 121 Ministries.
Our story is deeply personal to the mission. Chris grew up in communities much like the ones we’re reaching today—places where hope was often hard to find, and cycles of struggle seemed unbreakable. Kayla understands the heart of this ministry as well; she’s walked through many of the same challenges that these kids face and knows what it means to overcome through faith and love.
Together, we’ve seen God’s faithfulness in every step. What began as a vision in two teenagers’ hearts has grown into a calling to bring help that lasts, hope that endures, and love that prevails.
Amon Hopkins
I’m 15 years old, and Chris and Kayla are my godparents — but honestly, they’ve been more like family to me for as long as I can remember. I’ve known them since I was about five years old, and they’ve always been there for me.
This past summer, I traveled with them to Alaska on a mission trip with GraceWorks AK. Something changed in me on that trip. I saw how much need there was… kids who felt alone, people who needed hope, and communities hungry for someone to show them God’s love.
One day, I just felt this strong push in my heart — and I told Chris and Kayla that they needed to move to Anchorage, Alaska to do ministry. I didn’t know how big that moment really was, but I knew what I felt.
Now I’m living with them, and I’m part of Help 121 Ministries. I get to help serve, love people, and be part of something bigger than myself.
God used that trip to show me that sometimes He speaks through people you wouldn’t expect… even someone like me.
And honestly? I’m just excited to see what God does next.
